(SEACOR) (NYSE:CKH) today announced that effective February 1, Domenic Iannuzzi has joined SEACOR Holdings Inc. as a Director of Structured Leasing for SEACOR Capital Corporation, SEACOR’s leasing and finance subsidiary. Dan Hutchins, Vice President of SEACOR Capital, commented, “We are extremely pleased to have Domenic join us. His experience and expertise in leasing will be valuable to our entire leasing program. His skills will be beneficial in working with offshore marine, inland marine and shipping opportunities. His area of expertise is helicopters and he will also serve as Director of Leasing for our sister company, Era Leasing LLC, a subsidiary of Era Group Inc. (Era).”
Ed Washecka, CEO and President of Era Group Inc., added: “Era leases helicopters to third parties in addition to offering full service operations in the United States and in Brazil through an agreement with Aeroleo Taxi Aereo S.A.”. SEACOR Capital has arranged lease finance for mining equipment, tank barges, hopper barges, offshore vessels, business jets, industrial gas equipment, defense equipment and helicopters. Mr. Iannuzzi will work closely with each of SEACOR’s operating units.
Prior to joining SEACOR, Mr. Iannuzzi spent more than thirty years in the helicopter finance industry specializing in the leasing of helicopters where he worked closely with both end-users and manufacturers for Eurocopter, and most recently at GE Capital, where he served as Vice President-Helicopter Finance Manager. Era is primarily engaged in transporting personnel to the shallow and deepwater oil and gas fields in the Gulf of Mexico and Alaska. Era also provides air medical services, environmental and fire fighting support, FAA-approved full-service Search and Rescue (SAR) and Emergency Medical Services, flightseeing tours and helicopter leasing to third parties worldwide.
Additionally, through its affiliates in Hong Kong and mainland China – Avion Pacific and Avion Logistics – Era provides distribution and marketing services to American and European manufacturers of aircraft and spare parts.
