Gama Group company Lees Avionics Ltd have completed the acquisition of the trade and assets of Mann Aviation Group Engineering Ltd to create a new force to support the engineering and certification needs of corporate, regional, general aviation aircraft and helicopter operators.

The Gama Group today announced the formation of Gama Engineering Ltd. Established at Fairoaks Airport, near Heathrow, bringing together the combined talents and expertise of both Lees Avionics and Mann Aviation Group Engineering (MAGE).

Gama Engineering customers will continue to enjoy the benefits of working with the Lees Avionics team, who were pre-eminent in proactively supporting aircraft and helicopter operators’ transition their fleets to the next generation of avionics. MAGE have long been established as the UK’s leading specialist MRO, with a reputation for providing modifications and support services for a wide range of fixed wing and helicopter types, for both civilian and military operators. All fully validated by both EASA/FAR part 145 approval status in addition to our full turn-key EASA Part 21J design and Part 21G manufacturing services.

As a ‘preferred’ partner and dealer for all leading equipment suppliers including Aircell, DPI Labs, Flight Display Systems, Garmin, Honeywell, L-3, Rockwell-Collins and Universal, Gama Engineering will ensure that its customers are able to take advantage of the expanding in-cabin communications market such as Swift Broadband high-speed connectivity and seamless interfaces for Blackberry, iPhone etc.

Be it partnering manufacturers such as Airbus or supporting leading VIP, corporate and regional aviation operators, Gama Engineering also provides a turn-key solution designing, supplying, certifying and installing interior units and refurbishments.
