Business aviation operator Flexjet have imported a second Sikorsky S76C++ to the UK.  The aircraft made a short flight from the docks to Blackpool Airport this afternoon.

This aircraft will add to the fractional operator’s existing S76C++, seen in the image here, which is based at Fairoaks Airport in Surrey.  Further fleet additions are expected

UK Aviation Services at Blackpool will carry out all the necessary work on the aircraft to bring it to UK CAA compliance, and the aircraft should join the active fleet around the end of the year.  Work includes the annual inspection as well as upgrades to the Cockpit Voice Recorder and Flight Data Recorder.

The aircraft is currently registered N278FX on the FAA register.
