Some commercial helicopters will not be landing near the resort base of The Canyons ski area this winter because a permit for officials to build a helipad will likely be denied.  Summit County Community Development Director Don Sargent said he intends to deny the permit after the Snyderville Basin Planning Commission voted against the application
