Helicopter Foundation International (HFI) announces an easier way for the international community to navigate, search, and retrieve information. When visiting the HFI Web site, the international visitor can now utilize translation software that offers access in more than 50 different languages with just the click of a mouse.
Visitors to the site will now be able to view video streams, and browse through HFI’s library – which includes photographs, historical documents, and helicopter pioneer interviews.
Visitors will learn about HFI’s three Mentoring Programs (pilot, maintenance, and industry outreach to students), along with HFI’s Golf Tournament, which will take place during HELI-EXPO 2011. The Mentoring Programs, which can help jump start careers, take place on Sunday, March 6. The Golf Tournament will be held March 4, 2011 at the Grand Pines Golf Club, Orlando, Florida, and will begin at 12:30 p.m. with a shotgun start. All proceeds from the Golf Tournament will go towards the HFI Scholarship Program. For more information about the Golf Tournament, contact Art Ashton at 360-901-2350 (golf@rotor.com).
HFI invites its international friends to visit our Web site and navigate through its many features and enjoy its many offerings in their own language.
HFI is a 501(C)(3) organization, dedicated to the preservation of helicopter history and that of the industry, and through its scholarship programs promotes the education of present and future helicopter professionals.
HFI encourages everyone who is interested in preserving helicopter history to donate and help support HFI’s many worthy programs. All donations are tax deductable.
