Simplex Manufacturing has been granted a Validation of Supplemental Type Certificate (VSTC) from the Peoples Republic of China for its Robinson R44 agricultural spray system. The VSTC makes the Simplex spray system the only approved helicopter spray system for use in China. The CAAC approved the system on December 31, 2010. Simplex has shipped one R44 system under the new VSTC and has plans for several additional system shipments to China in 2011.
The R44 Helicopter Spray, Model 244, system has gained wide acceptance in the United States and throughout the world as a cost effective and efficient way to spray crops and perform other spray missions.
