The annual HAI Operator Safety Award recognizes the safe operation of helicopters by HAI Regular Members. To be eligible for consideration for the current award, operators must not have had an accident during 2010.

HAI presents first-time recipients with an engraved commemorative plaque and year-date medallion. For following accident-free years, Members will receive year-date medallions to affix to their plaques.
