Aero Dynamix is very pleased to announce that long time aerospace professional Tonka Hufford has joined the team as the Operations Manager / Project Development. Hufford made the move February 28 after five years with RSG Aviation where he most recently held the position of president.
Dennis Trout, Aero Dynamix general manager, said, “We’re very excited to have Tonka on board. Based in Euless, Texas (in the Dallas-Fort Worth area), Aero Dynamix is an innovator in helicopter cockpit lighting modifications for NVG operations. The company holds 24 supplemental type certificates for NVG cockpit lighting modifications on 36 different aircraft as well as two EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) validations for NVG cockpits. The company is currently undergoing a major expansion that will further enhance its capabilities.
Hufford has an extensive professional background in aircraft completions, manufacturing, operations and marketing with over 20 years of aviation experience. He has held a variety of management positions throughout the industry including VP of Operations for MD Helicopters just prior to working for RSG.
Said Hufford, “I kept watching the growth and the exciting things going on at Aero Dynamix and decided that was a team and a company that I had to become a part of. I am very, very excited to have this opportunity.â€
