The second Robinson R66 is flying in Europe, serial 0017, arrived last week with Sloane Helicopters and is now flying after the usual uncrating and airtesting. It is appropriately registered N66UK and is painted dark blue in common with their corporate colours and their past landmark aircraft – both the 1000th R22 as G-OSHL and their first R44 G-IVIV were also in that scheme.
Sloane Helicopters are taking their R66 in a tour starting this week, visiting Headcorn, Redhill, Cardiff, Swansea, Perth, Leeds, Liverpool, Dublin, Belfast, East Midlands, Leicester, Manchester, Enniskillen, Blackpool and Middlesborough. Other locations will be provided as itineraries get finalised. Further information on dates, and how to get involved in this tour should be made through Sloane Helicopters by emailling action@sloanehelicopters.com or by phone on +44 1604 790595
