In the last two weeks, two more police helicopter units in the UK have joined Twitter and started to spread news of their work via the successful social media site.  The two are

• West Midlands – @WMP_Helicopter
• South Yorkshire – @SYP_AirOps

Suoth Yorkshire currently appears to be just an automated feed of the jobs their helicopter does, while West Midlands looks more like a mixture between that and some manual intervention – noting, for example, the Kent Police story where someone got 8 months in prison for shining a laser at the helicopter they share with Essex Police (as reported by HeliHub.com here).
