STARS is hosting an air medical crew simulation competition together with the grand opening of a new STARS Critical Care Simulation Centre at 11 a.m. on May 12, 2011.

There will be three STARS teams involved in the competition, including two from Grande Prairie and one from Calgary. The teams will be competing to represent STARS at the Air Medical Transport Conference in St. Louis, Missouri. The competition will take place in October 2011. STARS consistently places in the top three in this annual competition which involves flight crews from all over North America.
