Radiance Technologies, Inc., Huntsville, Ala., was awarded on May 20 an $8,862,733 firm-fixed-price contract.  The award will provide for the production of the necessary hardware to equip a full battalion of AH-64D aircraft with the Ground Fire Acquisition System special mission kits.  Work will be performed in Huntsville, Ala., with an estimated completion date of May 20, 2012.  One bid was solicited, with one bid received.  The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Fort Eustis, Va., is the contracting activity (W911W6-11-C-0043).
