Helicopter Foundation International (HFI) works to ensure the helicopter industry’s future success and to preserve its rich past. Last year, HFI awarded 18 scholarships: Commercial Helicopter Rating Scholarships (4), Maintenance Technician Certificate Scholarships (6), Bill Sanderson Aviation Maintenance Technician Scholarships (7) and one Michelle North Scholarship for Safety, to attend courses at various institutions throughout the U.S. HFI would like to build on that success and expand its scholarship offerings for this year.

The Lightspeed Aviation Foundation will award a $10,000 grant to the top five vote getting aviation charities. HFI would like to be one of those lucky top five charities. Your vote can help HFI sponsor additional helicopter pilot and maintenance scholarships!

Over the past few months, HFI has made a number of requests for your vote, and has received a great response. However, it is vital that, within these last few weeks, we get votes from everyone who has not yet lent their support by voting. HFI urgently needs your help, as the voting nears its conclusion.
