Vector Aerospace announces management team changes

Vector Aerospace  Corporation (www.vectoraerospace.com), one of the world’s leading providers of aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services announces a key change in its executive management team at the Vector Aerospace Engine Services-Atlantic (VAESA) division.

Brian Thompson, formerly President of VAESA, now takes on the position of Senior Vice President -Global Engine Services; with responsibility for fixed wing engine sales coordination and operational integration.

Jeff Poirier, formerly Vice President of Customer and Technical Services with VAESA, assumes the position of President, Vector Aerospace Engine Services-Atlantic.

“The goal of these changes is to enable Vector to address its new position as a global maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) service provider, and to increase its ability to deliver superior customer satisfaction to a global marketplace; thereby further  enabling Vector  to grow our core businesses,” explains Declan O’Shea, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Vector Aerospace. “Both Brian and Jeff have consistently demonstrated exceptionally strong leadership capabilities over the past number of years and I am confident that in their new senior management roles, they will help elevate the company to the next level.”

Thompson joined VAESA as President in 2006, bringing with him an exceptional senior management background from both the public and private sectors. Poirier has a 19-year history with VAESA, having moved through the ranks in progressively demanding roles within the division; making him well-suited to replace Thompson, and lead the operation into a new era of growth and success.

VAESA is industry-recognized for providing best in class engine repair, overhaul and test services on the Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A, JT15D, PW100, PW307 and PW308A series engines from facilities located in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and South Africa.
