The Helicopter Association International (HAI) is pleased to announce that Steve Champness will serve as an HAI Sales Representative beginning Oct. 7, 2011. As HAI continues to expand its reach from ROTOR^® magazine and RotorNews^®, to HELI-EXPO^®, Champness will use his aviation experience and industry insights on behalf of HAI to increase visibility for the helicopter industry.

Champness is a pilot with more than 2,300 hours, including time as a “Second Mech” flight engineer in the P-3 Orion Aircraft with the U.S. Navy. With a passion for all things aviation, he has attended twenty-two HELI-EXPO’s and is well known throughout the general aviation community.  Steve’s firm, Aero Marketing Services, is located at Peachtree-DeKalb Airport in Atlanta, Ga. He also serves as the president of the Atlanta Aero Club.

Champness looks forward to meeting members of the helicopter industry and bringing new and innovative marketing solutions to help increase their business, reaching a broader domestic and international market. He will get off to an immediate start by meeting with many companies during the NBAA convention in Las Vegas next week.
