Sterling Wiggins has been named HAI’s Government Affairs assistant. Sterling joins HAI with significant government affairs experience, having interned with the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) and former Senate Aviation Subcommittee Chairman Senator Byron Dorgan (D-N.D.).

Reporting to HAI’s vice president of Government Affairs, Sterling will research and track legislative issues of importance to HAI members, keep HAI members updated on legislative news and events, and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the Government Affairs department.

Sterling is a graduate of the University of North Dakota with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Airport Management and minor in Political Science. He is also a licensed fixed-wing pilot.
