AirVault today announced that Air Methods Corp. has licensed the AirVault Mx Records Management Solution. Air Methods (NASDAQ: AIRM) is the largest publicly owned emergency medical services helicopter operator in the United States, with a fleet of over 400 medical transport aircraft that fly over 100,000 transports and nearly 140,000 flight hours per year.
Teri Short, the company’s Director of Engineering & Reliability, said, “Our operations expand from Alaska to Key West. Currently, we have more than 300 bases of operations that serve 47 states. We operate eight maintenance centers of excellence throughout the nation. AirVault will make it easier for us to load, index, find, use, and share Mx records with our partners, including OEMs, MROs, and regulators.”
Critical Technologies CEO, John Oldham, said, “As the leading medical transport provider, Air Methods represents a significant milestone for AirVault, which had previously served fixed-wing fleets. Rotary-wing aircraft are complex systems, and AirVault will be a valuable resource in their maintenance programs.”
