Nivisys Industries, LLC, a leader in Night Vision and Thermal technologies, announced today that they have received FAA Certification authorizing the operation of their Repair Station for Night Vision Aviator Goggles.

According to Lee A. Stephens, Nivisys’ FAA Accountable Manager, “Nivisys now holds the unique distinction of being the only Night Vision Goggle Manufacturer (TSO-C164) to also establish and operate a dedicated FAA Certificated Repair Station.”

Operating under Repair Station Certificate number 7NSR594B, the Station is certified with a Limited Accessory Rating assigned for NVG Repairs and Maintenance. This certification allows Nivisys to issue FAA 8130-3 “Return to Service” Certificates documenting Continued Airworthiness of the NVG after necessary 180 day inspection, maintenance and repair activities.
