In light of a number of recent accidents and incidents involving civil and military helicopters, this timely Conference will evaluate the role that flight simulation can play in rotary wing mission training and how this may avert future disasters. Flight Simulation provides an increasingly cost effective solution, with the capability to train for the increasing variety of challenging missions that helicopter crews are facing.
The Flight Simulation & Rotorcraft groups are organising this conference with the aim of mapping out a way forward for helicopter mission training by reviewing current military and civil experiences, the latest technology and techniques as well as looking at ways to maximise training effectiveness.
The Conference will open with a keynote address fromCapt Giles Porter, Head of Flight Operations Inspectorate (Helicopters, General Aviation and Dangerous Goods), CAA, UK.
