Helicopter Foundation International (HFI) is excited to expand one of its newest programs, the Heritage of Helicopter display featured at HELI-EXPO®.
We inaugurated our program at HELI-EXPO 2012, in Dallas, with three historical helicopters. The three were among the most visited and most talked about displays in the whole show. They provided a great backdrop for photo-ops, and were the focal point for a special group picture with HAI President Matt Zuccaro and any current and former military service members who were in attendance.
This year HFI plans to expand the number of vintage aircraft on display, but we need your help!
In order to display more historical helicopters at HELI-EXPO 2013 in Las Vegas, we will need more private owners and museums with historical helicopters to take part. If this describes you, and you would like to take part at the Las Vegas event, be sure to contact us!
Similarly, we are in need of interested parties to take advantage of available sponsorships to help bring the aircraft to the show and to be a part of the display. The sponsorship of something so interesting and widely photographed is a visibility opportunity unlike any other. You will not only have your name attached to the display, but you will be helping to highlight our industry’s past by featuring vintage rotorcraft that played a major role in the development of the rotorcraft industry.
HFI believes that helicopters will play an ever increasing role in society, and we are greatly looking forward to being able to help educate attendees on the helicopter’s rich past. But remember, we won’t be able to unless we get your participation!
