Stacy and Randy Riggs, owners of Alamo Helicopter Tours of San Antonio are expanding to a second Texan city with the launch of Austin Helicopter Tours.  They open for business on 1st October from Bud Dryden Airport, which is about four miles north east of the main Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.

Initially focusing on the tour business, they are expected to follow a similar model to their San Antonio operation with training and charter work following closely behind the tours.  Indeed, they are already offering flights in and out of the Circuit of the Americas, which will host the Formula 1 US Grand Prix on November 16-18.

The company will start with a Robinson R44
