At HELI-EXPO 2013 in Las Vegas, Nevada, Helicopter Foundation International will host its second Annual Fundraising Silent Auction. A silent auction is a fun and exciting way to win some great items. Additionally, this will be an amazing opportunity for bidders and donors to become part of HFI’s important work. With your involvement, you can take an active part in the shaping of the industry’s future.
HFI is preserving the past by building up a historical virtual museum that will enable students, researchers, archivists, and anyone interested in the history of the helicopter to go online and view and study countless photos and documents. The foundation also conducts interviews with some of the industry’s greatest pioneers, ensuring their stories are told and serve as a model for tomorrow’s leaders.
HFI also takes an active role in promoting the future of the helicopter industry by awarding 18 scholarships annually for gifted students interested in becoming part of the industry. The foundation understands that costs involved with training to become a professional can be prohibitive. We want to help as many young men and women as possible to follow their dreams. Additionally, HFI hosts three mentoring panels every year at HELI-EXPO® and invites all who are interested to attend and ask questions of industry experts.
HFI is grateful for the support received last year from our friends in the industry. The foundation encourages all individuals or organizations to consider making a donation which will help HFI support its scholarship and outreach programs. Donating an item leads to great publicity for donating organizations and individuals and an opportunity to have your product displayed in front of many prospective clients at HELI-EXPO.
