Local press is reporting that Port Adriano, a luxury marina on the southwest corner of Mallorca, has had a helipad approved.  Radio One Mallorca says that the Balearic Environmental Commission approved it after a lengthy viability and environmental impact study.  Approval for the elevated helipad was helped by being on the coast and having clear approach paths over the sea, thus keeping away from residential and locally sensitive environmental areas.
