In the first calendar quarter of 2014, Boeing produced 27 new-build helicopters, split as 10 Apaches and 17 Chinooks. This compares to 15 Apache and 9 Chinook aircraft in the same period last year. A total of 81 helicopters were built in 2013, consisting of 37 Apache nad 44 Chinooks.
