Jon Beatty became president and CEO of the Flight Safety Foundation in April 2014. Mr. Beatty oversees all operations of the Foundation, an international non-profit founded in 1947 in order to advance aviation safety.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Jon was president and CEO of International Aero Engines (IAE), a division of United Technologies Corporation, from 2007 to 2009, and again from 2012 to 2013. IAE powers more than 200 customers operating in 95 countries. Jon was also an IAE Executive Board Member.
Former Wall Street executive and Magellan Jets founder, Joshua Hebert, brings the financial savvy of the world’s trading center to the company he launched in 2008.
In founding Magellan Jets, Mr. Hebert realized his dream of melding his passion for aviation with his knowledge and expertise in financial relations, which he gleaned from serving at the prestigious firms of Shearson Lehman, Sands Brothers, and Paine Webber. As a result, when Hebert founded the company he was already an experienced business aviation manager.
Levi Stockton is president of Jet Center Los Angeles, the sole operating FBO at the Hawthorne California Airport. Stockton and his partners hold a unique master lease of the Hawthorne Airport, controlling all property at the airport with the exception of the runway and the taxiway. Since 2005, more than 50,000 square feet of hangar space has been developed at Hawthorne, with phase two of the development currently underway.
Dave Davenport is responsible for of FlightSafety International’s commercial, operations, sales, marketing and business development. Prior to joining FlightSafety, Mr. Davenport was responsible for all Gulfstream training centers worldwide as well as the rotorcraft training centers and FlightSafety Academy.
“Jon, Josh, Levi and Dave’s collective knowledge, experience and leadership in the aviation industry will be a tremendous benefit to the foundation’s ongoing and future safety initiatives,” said ACSF President Bryan Burns.
