August is a very special month to visit The Helicopter Museum in Weston-super-Mare as, for the first time in its 25 year history, it will allow the public into the cockpits of some of its rare aircraft.
“As part of our 25th Anniversary celebrations we are offering the public the chance to climb aboard aircraft that we have never allowed access to before”, said Museum Manager Lee Mills. “ These include popular helicopters such as our Russian Hind Gunship, Vietnam veteran Huey, Westland Lynx and Agusta 109. “
“These and other aircraft will be open on specified days throughout August so please visit the Museum’s website (www.helicoptermuseum.co.uk) or telephone (01934 635227) for details.”
The Helicopter Museum is a registered charity and houses the World’s largest collection of rotorcraft.
