United Rotorcraft, an Air Methods Division, announced the addition of two new key team members to the Decatur, Texas team, Bob Youngreen and Everett Horst. Bob Youngreen joins United Rotorcraft as account manager within the Global Sales and Marketing department, and Everett Horst as director of Decatur operations.
A 30 year industry veteran, Youngreen started out as a technician for Rocky Mountain Helicopters. His early career days were spent working in utility and logging operations around the western United States. In the late 1980’s, he transitioned to supporting Rocky Mountain’s growing emergency medical services (EMS) fleet, eventually serving as Director of Maintenance and Vice President of Business Development. Prior to joining United Rotorcraft, Youngreen served as aftermarket sales manager for MD Helicopters, Inc. and as the Director of Maintenance for Omniflight Helicopters, Inc. In his new role as account manager, he will focus on Airborne Law Enforcement, Search & Rescue, Corporate and Utility.
Horst has worked in the aviation industry for more than 30 years. He began his career in aviation working for Addison Avionics as avionic supervisor, later working for San Francisco Emergency Nurses Association (SFENA) as completions manager. Horst eventually co-founded two companies – Premier Aviation (1989) and Heritage Aviation (2001) – where he held the position of vice president. Horst brings a rich aviation background of more than 30 years to United Rotorcraft, and will serve as director of Decatur operations overseeing all completion projects in the Texas-based facility.
