The Director General of Civil Aviation and the Indian Government have approved plans for a heliport to be built in Greater Noida, near the Gautam Budh University. The heliport will be built over a 22-acre plot, with an additional 15 acres for future expansions. It is expected to take up to two years to complete.
After receiving approval from the Director General of Civil Aviation and Government, they need clearance from the Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Environment, reports Times of India.
