Queen’s Medical Centre are closer to getting helipad after their planning applications where submitted to the Nottingham City Council. They plan to build the helipad on the Curie Court car park. In order to save the parking underneath, the helipad will be built on stilts above the car park. The total cost will come to £3.2 million. Nottingham Hospitals Charity will supply £2.5 million. They hope that the helipad will be operational by 2018, reports Nottingham Posts.
