Poland’s Defence Minister has reported that they are considering purchasing 14 new helicopters, either from Airbus, Sikorsky or Leonardo-Finmeccanica. The 1 billion zlotys contract is part of Poland’s military overhaul that started after Russia annexed Ukraine’s Crimea peninsula. By 2022, the total cost of military renovation will come to 61 billion zlotys, reports Yahoo Finance.
