India has sent 30 of their Mi-17-1B multi-purpose helicopters to Russian Helicopters in Novosibirsk to be repaired. They plan to have all 30 repaired and ready to go by the middle of 2018. The helicopters will be sent over in six groups of five. A group of Indian aviation experts have gone to Novosibirsk in February, in order to screen the repair progress, reports Lead Stories. These experts will remain there well into March.
