MDAeroGroup and Onboard Systems are creating a joint project to design a cargo hook for the Kazan Helicopters Ansat light twin helicopters. This announcement was made during HeliRussia 2017. The hook will be accompanied by a hydraulic load weigh and release system, reports Russian Aviation Insider. Information will be sent to the cockpit screen via a load indicator connected to a microprocessor which in turn is connected to load cells on the hook. It will be able to carry up to 1,500 kg.
