Petronus has decided to cancel their helicopter services contract with MHS Aviation. The termination is due to the suspension of the EC225 since April last year, after a fatal accident in Norway of the same make. Many safety concerns have arisen since then. It is noted that many other oil and gas companies have elected to not use the same model until the suspension has been lifted, as a precaution.
