Caverton Helicopters has officially paid off their loan of $55 million from Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited (SPDC). The loan was in order for Caverton to purchase three AW139 helicopters. In 2010 Shell had awarded Caverton a five-year contract for facilitating helicopter services. It was the largest contract given by Shell to a national company in Nigeria, reports This Day Live.
