Although Airbus’s H225s have been cleared for use after their recent suspension following the fatal crash in Norway, Era Group has commented that they do not see a return to service for their nine H225s. They are also in a court battle with Airbus as they claim Airbus knew full well the safety issues with the gearbox when selling the H225. Although the suspension has been lifted, only a few countries are using the helicopter model, and as reported by Flight Global, there is not a lot of demand or trust for the helicopter.
