The Metropolitan Police Department proudly revealed their new Airbus H145 helicopter this past Wednesday. The new $9.6 million helicopter will be used for Search and Rescue missions, and with its twin engines ensuring a longer flight time and smaller rotor diameter enabling it to fit into tight spaces, it promises to do a good job. The older helicopters are from 1973, reports Review Journal, and their new H145 will be in service for up to 25 years.
