Helicopter operators have been collecting vibration data for years from health and usage monitoring systems (HUMS). Having this data can show issues with a helicopter’s dynamic systems as well as potential maintenance issues. Airbus has been working hard on FlyScan since it opened in 2017. This in-house service enables clients to upload their collected data, where FlyScan then processes and deliver back to the client as a status report.
