Shavkat Mirziyoev, president of Uzbekistan, has passed a new bill reorganising the country’s national aviation conglomerate. They will now be legally separating the state’s airports and Uzbekistan Airways and both will be independently managed. The bill was passed on November 27. This reorganisation is hoped to improve civil aviation as well as increase foreign investments, reports Russian Aviation Insider.
