The Sri Lankan Air Force recently achieved the first ever Seed Bombing operation in Nochchiagama. The operation hopes to increase green cover in Sri Lanka from 27% to 32% by 2030. They dropped 5,000 seed bombs over 5 acres of land, spreading three different types; Mee, Karanda and Kumbuk from a SLAF Mi-17, reports Daily Mirror.
