A World War 2 Spitfire almost came into collision with an EMS AW169 recently. The Spitfire was flying at 220mph and the AW169 155mph. The helicopter’s ambulance crew stated that the Spitfire was doing aerobatics and was finishing a loop. The helicopter pilot had to perform a steep left turn and they missed each other by 400 yards, reports Metro.
