Heli-One, a leading global provider of helicopter maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services, has received Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) approval for its flight display and flight management system (FMS) upgrade from Transport Canada and the Malaysia Department of Civil Aviation.
This STC is from the S-76B VVIP upgrade project recently completed for a customer in Asia. It covers the flight information display and flight management system upgrade, replacing analogue systems with three 8.9” digital ‘smart’ displays, increasing operational capability, reducing issues with aging instruments, and eliminating the costs of replacing or maintaining older analogue displays.
