Wheeler Army Airfield will soon adopt their new layout plan for Class D and E airspace on April 25. Class D airspace now has an increased lateral extent from 1,800 feet to 3,300 feet. In collaboration with the FAA, Wheeler Army Airfield has worked on the changes for the past four years, reports AOPA.
