The Police in Sweden have recently added a pair of Bell 429s to bring their fleet to a total of nine. Funded by an anti-terrorism budget, the two arrived at Stockholm by airfreight on 5th August, courtesy of freight airline Cargolux.
Now on the Swedish civil register as SE-JPN and JPO – respectively Bell MSNs 57350 and 57351 – the aircraft will soon be added to the law enforcement fleet. In common with the earlier seven airframes, each carries its Tetra Radio Callsign on the engine cowling.
