Under new owners since 2018, Schweizer is making a steady and planned approach to their re-entry to the helicopter market. Having spent time investing in the spares and support side of the business back, the company is now working on the order for 25 model CBi helicopters, and is also starting to build the sales funnel for the time when that order is fulfilled.

As part of this ramp-up, Schweizer have started to work on the dealer network, and have now appointed an Authorized Service Center and New Helicopter Distributor for the United Kingdom and Ireland.   JBS Helicopters, run by James Bradley Silverstone, have been active in the 300 market for a few years and shown sufficient dedication to the task for Schweizer to know they have a committed company to work with.

JBS has been very active in the pre-owned sales market and has sold three 300s to Poland, two within the UK and one to each of New Zealand and Sweden. The company is building a 25m by 15m hangar near Retford. Until then, JBS is fulfilling customer parts orders from their inventory and offers training from Tollerton Airport with the very experienced Geoff Day as CFI.  Nick Tarrant, who worked with CSE Aviation back in the day they held the Schweizer dealership in the UK, is also working for JBS.

JBS is now accepting orders for new S300C and S300CBi models with delivery expected in early 2021.
