Rick Kenin, the COO of Boston MedFlight is honored to be nominated for the Helicopter Association International Board of Directors.  Kenin is recognized worldwide as a leader in helicopter operations and safety.  Under Kenin’s leadership, the Boston MedFlight team was recognized numerous times for outstanding service including the HAI Salute to Excellence Award for Helicopter IFR Infrastructure, the Sikorsky Safe Operations Award and a Part 135 Safe Operations Award at AMTC.

Kenin currently serves as the chairman for the HAI Safety Working Group and works closely with industry associations and boards including the US Helicopter Safety Team and the Commission on Accreditation for Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS).  He has been instrumental in developing safety initiatives in air medical operations and in all operations through the international HAI working group.

“It is an honor to be nominated for a position on the HAI Board.” says Rick Kenin.  “I understand the industry and I am willing to roll up my sleeves and help find solutions that HAI can provide members.  I know what it takes to keep the rotors turning.  I would be honored to represent all helicopter operators and respectfully request their consideration when voting this week.”

Rick Kenin  is a 20-year helicopter pilot (military & commercial), and longtime member of HAI.  Boston MedFlight is a critical care transport serve the Northeast US region for more than 35 years.
