SKYTRAC, a leader in satellite communications (Satcom) and intelligent connectivity solutions, announced that it has signed a long-term agreement with Airbus Helicopters, Inc.  that will enable customers to select SKYTRAC avionics on newly purchased helicopters including the popular H145, H160, H175 and H225 models.

The partnership will enable Airbus Helicopters, Inc. customers with the option to select Iridium-based Satcom systems such as the SDL-350, ISAT-200A, cockpit dialers and displays including the MTC-100, as well as a host of value-added mission-critical capabilities including automated flight following, helicopter flight data monitoring (HFDM), satellite Push-to-Talk (PPT), and text communications for specific operator profiles with the purchase of their aircraft.
