Not a single helicopter of the DRF Luftrettung has remained on the ground due to corona since the pandemic changed the world in spring 2020 and presented one of Europe’s leading air rescue organizations with unprecedented challenges. The Friends of the DRF Luftrettung supported the necessary measures to overcome the crisis with all the means at its disposal.

The annual report 2020 of the DRF eV takes a look at the past year. In addition to information about the work and financing of the air rescuers, it also contains touching patient stories and a review of the successes during the corona pandemic, such as the introduction of the new technology – the  “EpiShuttle” insulated stretcher .
