General Electric – Aviation, Lynn, Massachusetts, is awarded an $8,245,146 cost-plus-fixed-fee-contract to procure four T-64 engine cores for the CH-53E aircraft as part of the T-64 Engine Reliability Improvement Program. Work will be performed in Lynn, Massachusetts (45%); Rutland, Vermont (28%); Havelock, North Carolina (18%); Madisonville, Kentucky (4%); Evendale, Ohio (4%); and various locations within the continental U.S. (1%), and is expected to be completed in February 2023.  Fiscal 2021 aircraft procurement (Navy) funds in the amount $8,245,146 will be obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured pursuant to Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1.
