New Managing Director of Kazan Helicopter Plant appointed

By the decision of the board of directors of the Kazan Helicopter Plant of the Russian Helicopters holding of the State Corporation Rostec, Vladimir Ginsburg, who previously headed the Kazan Electrotechnical Plant, was appointed the managing director of the enterprise. In this post, he replaced Alexei Belykh, who headed Kazan Helicopters Plant since December 2020.

The team of the Kazan Helicopter Plant was introduced to the new Managing Director Vladimir Ginsburg. Within the framework of the meeting, the Prime Minister of Tatarstan Aleksey Pesoshin presented Aleksey Belykh with the medal “100 years of the formation of the TASSR” for his significant contribution to strengthening the socio-economic potential of the republic.

“Under the leadership of Aleksey Belykh, Kazan Helicopter Plant has taken a course towards stabilizing the economic situation. The new management of the plant has ambitious tasks – in 2022 we plan to produce about 100 helicopters and increase the profitability of the Kazan Helicopter Plant to 3.5 billion rubles. In addition, next year it will take place several significant events – the first transfer to the customer of the modernized Ansat-M, the performance of the first export deliveries of Mi-38 I’m sure Vladimir Ginsburg with its rich managerial experience, these tasks will be under force. “- said the CEO of the holding company” Helicopters of Russia ”  Nikolai Kolesov .

Vladimir Ginsburg has come a long professional path – from a mechanic-repairman to the general director of Kazan Electrotechnical Plant JSC. From 1975 to 1994, he held the following positions: technician-technologist, engineer-technologist, deputy head of the shop, head of the shop and deputy general director of the Kazan Electrotechnical Plant. For the next nine years, he worked in executive positions at a number of large enterprises in Tatarstan. From 2003 to 2021 he was the general director of the Kazan Electrotechnical Plant.

Vladimir Ginsburg holds the title of Honored Mechanical Engineer of the Russian Federation (2013). Awarded with state and departmental awards, including medals: “In commemoration of the 1000th anniversary of the city of Kazan” and “For valiant labor.”
