Omni Helicopters International S.A. [“OHI”] today announced the appointment of Jeff Goyer as Group Chief Safety Officer. Mr. Goyer has over 25 years of experience in the air mobility industry, having been focused on leading and influencing safety and operational improvements at a global level.
He began his aviation career in the challenging environments of the Arctic, Africa, and South America, where his early focus was on maintenance and operational management in both airline and B2B charter operations. He joined Hart Aviation PTY in 2005, leading a team of experts in the Americas who provided safety and aviation advisory services to various end-user industries (including energy and mining), Fortune 500 companies, and high net worth individuals around the globe. For the last 11 years Mr. Goyer has managed aviation safety for Hess Corporation (NYSE: HES), recently serving as Vice Chairman of the IOGP Aviation Sub Committee and Chairman of Helicopter Safety Advisory Conference. At OHI, Mr. Goyer’s focus will be to further elevate OHI’s industry leadership by championing safety culture, advancing safety ESG convergence with an enterprise-based, operational risk management strategy, and implementing proactive metrics to enhance continuous improvement.
